Due to Covid-19 The County, & Local Real Estate taxes have extended the FACE amount until the end of the year. If you pay your taxes by December 31, 2020 you only have to pay the FACE amount. If the taxes are not paid by December 31, 2020 the amount reported and collected on will be the PENALTY amount. For the School and Local real estate taxes, if you pay the PENALTY amount in error your check will be returned to you with a notice to send a new check for the FACE amount. If you pay the county the PENALTY amount in error they will process your check. They will only return the difference between FACE and PENALTY if you personally request a refund.
Northern York County School District did not extend the due date for the Face amount. They were included in the extension notice above in error.
